To serve you as efficiently as possible, I would like to familiarize 
you with the steps involved in bringing your vision to fruition. 

Do you know what you want?  If you have already selected a finishing technique and color, there will be no charge for developing an estimate. 

Not sure what you want?  There are so many techniques and colors available that figuring out what will work best in your space can be overwhelming.  I am happy to meet with you to develop a concept and select colors that will give you the look and feel you want.  At this meeting, we will discuss colors that you would like to introduce into your setting and the type of visual texture you would like applied to the wall surfaces. I will have some samples for you to look at to stimulate ideas. I also encourage you to assemble a collection of ideas from magazines to bring to this meeting. At the end of the consultation, a color and technique will be identified.  There is a $75.00 per hour consultation fee for this service which will be credited toward the final price of the project once the estimate is accepted.
 
What will it cost?  If you have a budget in mind, let me know so that we can discuss your ideas and visions within that context.   Once the color and technique have been decided upon, I will give you a proposal that includes an estimate of what the project will cost. The price will vary depending on the complexity of the finish selected and the size of the project. For example, the price for simple one-process finishes over an existing base coat will be less than the cost of more complex finishes such as marbling, wood graining, leather or stone finishes, or textural wall finishes. If you would like a custom-designed mural, I will develop an estimate once the level of architectural detail has been established. 

How do we get started?  A fifty percent deposit is due upon acceptance of the project. I will prepare a sample of the color and technique you have selected. If additional samples are required, a fee of $75 per sample will be added onto the price of the project. 

What about change orders?  Changes from the original scope of the project may incur additional costs.  A supplemental estimate will be provided before any additional work is performed.
 
The balance of payment is due upon completion. 

Please note: The costs of preparing the surface to receive the faux finish are not included in the price of applying the finish. If you do not currently work with a professional painter, I can recommend one.
